How to Prepare "Tuwon Masara"
Is also known as cornmeal or maize fufu, it is a traditional Nigerian dish made from maize flour. It is a staple food in many parts of Nigeria and is typically served with soups and stews.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of maize flour
- 4 cups of water
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a large pot
- Gradually add the maize flour, stirring constantly to prevent lumps
- Continue to stir and cook until the mixture thickens to a dough-like consistency
- Serve with your choice of soup or stew.
